- Required: name and telephone number. Without them we cannot reply to you.
- Optional: email address, town, service you are interested in, approximate area and the message you write.
- Photographs of the garden, if you choose to attach them. We recommend that you do not upload images showing identifiable people or third parties’ data.
3. What we use it for
For a single purpose: to deal with your quote request. This involves contacting you, assessing the work you need and passing the request on to the professional who can carry it out.
We do not send marketing communications or newsletters, and we do not pass your data on for advertising purposes.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form before sending it. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@jardineroscostadelsol.es, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out beforehand.
5. Who receives your data
Professionals who carry out the work
This site works as a lead-generation service: the gardening work is carried out by independent professionals who operate on the Costa del Sol. Your request is passed on to the professional who is going to handle it, including the data needed for them to contact you and assess the work.
That professional acts as an independent controller of the data they receive, and is responsible for the use they make of it. If you want to know who your specific request has been passed on to, you can ask us at the contact address given above.
Providers that support the service
- Resend — sending the email with your request. Servers in Ireland (European Union).
- Hostinger — the server that hosts this website. Data centre in Paris (European Union).
- Nominalia — email service for the domain. European Union.
All of them act as processors, with access to the data only in order to provide their service.
This site’s DNS service is configured in direct mode, with no traffic proxying, so the DNS provider has no access to the data you send.
6. International transfers
The controller is a company incorporated in the United States, although it operates from Mijas. To the extent that access to the data by the parent company constitutes an international transfer, that transfer is based on your explicit consent under Article 49(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), after you have been informed in this policy of the possible risks arising from the absence of an adequacy decision and of additional safeguards.
In practice, the infrastructure that processes your data (server, email sending and mailbox) is located entirely within the European Union.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your request for 12 months from our last contact with you. After that period the data is deleted, unless the request has led to contracted work, in which case the associated data will be kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
8. Your rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time by writing to info@jardineroscostadelsol.es, stating which one you wish to exercise and enclosing a document that proves your identity:
- Access: to know what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: to correct any that is inaccurate.
- Erasure: to ask us to delete it.
- Objection and restriction: to object to the processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Portability: to receive your data in a structured format.
- Withdrawal of consent, at any time.
We will reply within one month at most. If you consider that we have not dealt with your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
9. Cookies
This site does not use cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixels and no resources loaded from third-party servers: the fonts are served from our own server. That is why you will not see any cookie consent notice.
If we add measurement tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your prior consent.
10. Security
The connection to this site is encrypted using HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data, although no system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Minors
This site is aimed at people over the age of 18. We do not knowingly request or process data from minors. If we find that we have received data from a minor, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to adapt it to changes in legislation or in the service. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of the page.
